Weiland Conference Room: Audubon Environmental Center, Seward Park/Seattle
Ric was not a "bricks and mortar" donor and there are only two conference rooms named to acknowledge his family's philanthropy (the other is at Seattle's Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center). The main floor conference room in the newly refurbished Audubon Environmental Center was walking distance from Ric's childhood home - and in his day was the local ice cream hangout. Today the room can host about 35 people and is open to the public.
....It's true when they say the best philanthropists are those who are willing to invest their wealth, wisdom and work in community organizations. I invite all to join in the effort to grow community wealth!
